Last year around this time on Instagram, I met Lulu, creator, and founder of Designing 40. Designing 40 is a blog which sheds light on the emotional side of turning 40 and, how we begin to think about our; past setbacks, career choices, family, relationships, sex, and parenthood.

Things change for some when turning 40, 50… It may seem like, just another day but, life has a way of switching, stalling, and dismantling our gears after 40.

How we date is completely different after 40, then it was when we were raising our children and when we were younger. How we view relationships, will change.

Our style will change. Our sexual needs will change. Some of us will become more aware of our sexuality while others may experience a decrease or increase in their sex drive.

It’s a great site for anyone turning 40 and, for those over 40.

Lulu was interested in the “poverty 2 posh” tag I kept referring to on Instagram. Most people know where they want to go but, don’t know how to get there. Where is the prosperity pipeline that connects the gap on, “I know the change” but, “how do I begin to change?”

Lulu asked, “Can you detail the steps you took in your, “poverty to posh” journey?” Here are the steps …”Killing it: 7 steps to owning your life after 40!

From that piece alone Over 40 & Killing it® has received, and, is still receiving rave reviews, which is why I wanted to say thank you. It was truly a delightful experience.

I have listed below some of the positive and encouraging feedback from my global audience.

I love your site. You’re content is spot on! This site is really going to help individuals who are facing 40 and freaking out. It’s nice to have an outlet where you can go to with like-minded people to share stories, problems and even shed a tear or two. ~~ Melissa Price

This is a vendor, I will be working within the near the future…

I wanted to start off by saying I forgot to mention when speaking with you, that I visited your website yesterday and I LOVE IT! I’m nearly 42 and have to say the last year and half was my biggest “turn me upside down in the worst possible ways” experience I’ve ever had (I’ve bounced back a hundred fold though☺). I could really relate to what you had to say and had a great time reading it. Good job! ~~T. Mosley

Totally agree…..I started enjoying life at & after 40 & started a business ‘Dilmilgaya.com’ & since then have never looked back. Prior to that life was a grind & a lot of hard work. It still is to some extent but enjoying it more now. Have matured like fine wine! ~~Dilmilgaya.com
