Capricorn State Of Mind! The City Never Sleeps, and Neither Does She!

Welcome to Capricorn State of Mind, a series born from reflection, ambition, and the unapologetic embrace of what it means to be a Capricorn. This isn’t just a documentation of my journey—it’s a deliberate sharing of wisdom, resilience, and the formation of a sphere of Unfuckable energy around my life. I’m leaning into the power of my sign, because yes, I’m a Capricorn and I’m posting my sign in this space—boldly, fiercely, and without apology. This is about showing up for myself and, in turn, showing up for those who recognize this same power within themselves. Capricorn season is here, but truthfully, we own every season. And now, I’m inviting you into my world—into late nights, quiet moments, bold decisions, and the unwavering pursuit of something bigger. Let’s begin.

Part I: CappiĂŠ in the City

The city always hums late at night. It’s an endless pulse—cars rolling like whispers, footsteps tapping on wet pavement, someone’s cigarette glowing in a darkened alley. I never sleep much during Capricorn season. It’s like the universe sharpens itself, edges gleaming, and I feel it all—ambition burning like heat from an open grate, patience coiling in my gut like a snake. Capricorn season doesn’t ask for attention—it demands it.

I walk into the room—dim lighting, whiskey-soaked air, and the kind of silence only money buys. It’s the kind of place where people speak without saying anything, where words are negotiations, and eyes are sharper than daggers. The gentleman in the corner catches mine. He’s been away for years—prison, they say—but even walls can’t cage a Capricorn mind. He sits back, shoulders loose but deliberate, and when he lifts his glass to me, there’s no smile—just a knowing look. We speak the same language. Unbreakable. Unshakable. UnFuckable.

Capricorns don’t play games—we invent them.

They say we’re cold. Maybe we are. But don’t mistake the stillness for weakness. It’s just the silence before we strike. There’s nothing quiet about a Capricorn mind, no matter how calm we look. We’re always building. Always planning. You’d think you’re one step ahead, but darling, we built the staircase you’re climbing.

The Gentleman Who Waited

There’s something about nostalgia that hits differently during Capricorn season. Maybe it’s the weight of the past meeting the ambition of the present. He and I go back—way back—grade school days. We lost touch after sixth grade, and life, as it does, carried us in separate directions. Decades later, we reconnected on Facebook, and when we finally saw each other again, it was like stepping into a memory—magical, grounding, and just real. A single moment felt like the kind of thing you don’t plan for but can’t forget.

He’s incarcerated now, caught up in a crime in the city I once called home, but even through those walls, he inspires me. We talk once, maybe twice a week—his voice steady, his words sharp but soothing. There’s a calm he brings to me, a kind of grounding that Capricorns understand—quiet strength. It’s weird, this connection. It’s magnetic and unnerving, the kind of pull you feel in your bones but can’t explain. And there’s talk—whispers, really—that he could be released sooner than expected.

And then there’s me. A Capricorn woman who’s been single long enough to turn my solitude into an art form. My laptop sits open on the left side of the bed, my glasses perched nearby, snacks lined up like little soldiers, ready for battle. Would I trade my perfectly curated rituals—my quiet, delicious solitude—for something bigger? Something unpredictable?

Honestly, I don’t know. Capricorns thrive on control, but this—this is the one thing I can’t plan for. Only time will tell if nostalgia turns into something more, or if it’s just another layer to the Capricorn story: the climb, the resilience, and the quiet pull of the past trying to meet the future. For now, I’ll let it linger—just like the city at night, full of potential and waiting to see what happens next.

The Travel Mindset

And maybe, just maybe, this series will take us places. A Capricorn doesn’t need a passport to travel; we move in our minds, carving pathways to new ideas, uncharted plans, and visions of success so clear you can almost touch them. But imagine this—Cappié in the City becomes a movement. A dark, seductive travel through life’s quiet lessons. Observations in airports, cities, late-night drives, and whiskey-drenched rooms.

A place where symbols hold weight. A space where ambition lives alongside reflection. Where people learn to connect their stillness to their power.

So tell me—are you seeing it too? The patterns, the plans, the quiet whispers of your own Capricorn state of mind? Maybe you’re feeling the pull to slow down and pay attention. Maybe you’re ready to embrace the patience, the darkness, and the power it takes to become UnFuckable.

Drop a comment, share a thought. Where are you seeing Capricorn energy show up in your life? Are you building something? Watching something unfold? Maybe it’s time to pull out a journal—or better yet, create a space to capture the symbols you’re seeing. Who knows—maybe this is the beginning of your own Cappié in the City story.

Because Capricorn season isn’t just a time of year—it’s a state of mind. A mindset that, once unlocked, changes everything.

And trust me, there’s no going back.
